On March 3 2022, Members of the House of Lords approved amendments to the Health and Care Bill in England that require local systems and the UK government to take action to help improve child health outcomes across England.

Workforce amendment in the Lords gets voted through

Members of the House of Lords have voted to require the regular publication of health and care workforce projections as part of the Health and Care Bill. The amendment was tabled by Baroness Cumberlege and has been championed in the Commons by Jeremy Hunt MP.
