国产自拍 welcomes commitment to develop climate-smart health care at COP26

The announcement that a group of 50 countries have committed to develop climate-resilient and low-carbon health systems at COP26 aligns with the College鈥檚 calls in our climate change position statement.

A group of 50 countries, including the UK, have at the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26), in response to growing evidence of the impact of climate change on people鈥檚 health.

Our position statement on the impact of climate change on global child health calls for adaption to protect current and future generations of children with targeted investment in climate-resilient, low-carbon and sustainable health and education services.

Dr Camilla Kingdon, 国产自拍 President, says:

鈥淚 am delighted to see commitment on health-focused goals at COP26. Children and young people鈥檚 health is hugely affected by climate change. Governments need to consider children and young people in all their climate change policy decisions: their voice has been at the centre of calls for action and must continue to be central as policies are made.

鈥淕rowing up in a safe environment with access to the best healthcare services is every child鈥檚 right and must be protected despite the increasing risks presented by climate change. As a College, we are determined to play our part in this and specifically highlight the impact of climate change on children around the globe.鈥
